Calibration manager application offers additional benefits

AMS, (Asset Management Solutions) software from Fisher-Rosemount, has been successfully helping customers streamline daily maintenance activities, including calibration, and is now providing an easy way to document those tasks. Now clients can add the Calibration Manager SNAP-ON application as an option to AMS for further benefits.

AMS is a versatile PC software application that allows the user to configure, calibrate, perform loop tests, and check device status on all Hart and Foundation Fieldbus devices. AMS also supports conventional field instruments. It is a complete asset management approach to managing field instruments - no matter who manufactured the device. Within the standard AMS capability the user can track calibration activities as well as set up test definitions, define calibration schedules, conduct tests, record the results of the tests and analyse the results.

The addition of the application allows the user to easily group devices into calibration routes and communicate directly with handheld documenting calibrators. It allows the importing of calibration data from the user's calibrator into the AMS database to keep accurate, organised records of calibration activities, ready for easy access.
