In accordance with the relevant requirements of the SABS, nine models of the Revere Load Cells, exclusive to Instrotech, are now both internationally and locally certified for ATEX for use in Zone 0/1 and Zone /2, group 11C.
The certification indicates compliance with R21.17.2 of the Mine Health and Safety Act and/or EMR8(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
The range of models includes shear-beam, platform, ring torsion, double ended beam and super precision compression types. Measuring ranges from 6 kg up to 100 ton. The units are hermetically sealed with permanently connected cable leads available in various lengths.
