D-R 300-40 designed for emission control.

The Durag D-R 300-40 has been designed for emission monitoring of dust, particularly for measurements of low dust concentrations from emissions in waste incineration, power plants and steelworks.

Optical parts and the electronics have been isolated from the flue gas via windows, ensuring the optics and electronics are not damaged in the event the purge air fan fails. Another advantage of the separating windows is that fail-safe shutters are not necessary unless process temperatures exceed

250°C.

The D-R 300-40 provides in-situ measurement directly in the flue gas flow with automatic system tests and correction of measured values. As optics and electronics are in an hermetically sealed unit, no smoke gas can enter the device. The dust monitor is maintenance-friendly thanks to the optimal purge air conduction in front of the heated optical end plates.

The TUV approved units are equipped with automatic zero, span and soiling control, and are easily installed without the use of a PC; self-calibration takes place in a four hour cycle.
