Siemens Automation and Drives has developed a pressure transmitter especially for the requirements of the food, beverages and pharmaceutical industries.
The Sitrans P300 unit with stainless steel housing and measuring cell flush with the front panel is easy to clean and sterilise. The transmitter is suitable for process temperatures up to 200°C, and is available with the full range of hygiene connections. Sitrans P300 provides exact and stable measurements over a long period. For example, the deviation in measured value is less than 0,075% with a long-term drift of only 0,25% in five years.
The unit is characterised by exceptional long term stability
Sitrans P300 is operated locally using three keys and a display. Comprehensive diagnostics and simulation functions permit simple start-up of measuring circuits and avoid plant downtimes. The pressure transmitter parameters are set using the Simatic PDM software and the integral Hart or Profibus-PA interface.
