Rockwell Automation will once again be hosting its biennial Automation University. The event provides industry players with the ideal platform to gain insight into the trends and developments in the automation industry while networking with a host of local and international visitors. Automation University will take place from 30 to 31 July at Emperor’s Palace.
Following the same formula as previous years, Automation University is a catered event, featuring technical education sessions, solutions demonstrations, discussions and entertainment. There will be a number of product and industry specialists on the floor, as well as international visitors and experts. There will also be a dedicated press session.
“Automation University is the ideal opportunity to meet and consult with leading automation and information experts and discuss topical issues. It is aimed at a wide range of sectors, including renewable energies, metals, mining, and consumer packaged goods,” says Michelle Heydenrich, Tradeshow and Event Marketing Services, Rockwell Automation.
Some of the main topics to be covered include Rockwell Automation’s Integrated Architecture, FactoryTalk, safety and safety components, batch manufacturing, intelligent motor control, and process automation systems.
The exhibition portion of the event will feature interactive automation panels that allow visitors to get a true hands-on experience, as well as stands from a host of industries.
“Based on the success of our previous events, we are looking forward to a successful and well-attended event that provides visitors with relevant, high quality information and networking opportunities,” concludes Heydenrich.
