MEAN WELL has announced the introduction of the high performance TS-1000 series DC/AC power inverter. Using high-frequency circuit topology, the true sine wave inverter is light weight and operates at up to 92% of efficiency. The inverter can provide 1000 W continuously for all kinds of harsh loads with less than 3% total harmonic distortion. Peak load capabilities are:
* 1150 W for 3 minutes.
* 1500 W for 10 seconds.
* 2000 W surge power for 30 cycles.
TS-1000 is controlled by microprocessor and the output AC voltage and frequency can be adjusted easily through the front panel for various applications. A standby saving mode can also be selected by users to save the energy stored in the battery banks. Input protection for the unit includes: internal fuse, battery low alarm, low battery shutdown, reverse polarity and input over voltage detection. The output is equipped with short circuit, overload and over temperature protection. The unit complies with global safety and EMC certificates and is suitable for powering all kinds of home appliances, power tools, office equipment and portable appliances in vehicles or places where the power quality is poor. Other features include:
* ON/OFF switch and LED indicators for load, battery and status.
