Hiprom represents Endress+Hauser

September 2007 News

Process instrumentation specialist Endress+Hauser has entered into an alliance with Hiprom Automation. The agreement sees Hiprom responsible for the sales and implementation of the Endress+Hauser product range in the Rustenburg area. Hiprom delivers consulting services and turnkey systems to the metals and mining industries.

The agreement took effect on 1 June, and the supply of all products, project work, quotes and servicing in the region, is now being undertaken by Hiprom.

According to Tony Jacobsen, managing director, Endress+Hauser, the collaboration between the two companies is an ideal fit. "There is a great deal of synergy which will result in added value to the full customer base.

"Hiprom has a wide installed base in the Rustenburg region and this ensures Endress+Hauser gets greater surface to market. For Hiprom, a system integration and engineering company, partnering with us gives them access to a broad range of high quality field process instrumentation."

Stephanus Klopper, Endress+Hauser external sales engineer and representative in Rustenburg, has joined the Hiprom team.
