Pocket-sized instruments pack punch

testo has launched an innovative line of eight low cost pocket-sized instruments for everyday use. The range of parameters covered include air temperature and infrared surface temperature, air humidity, air flow velocity, material moisture, differential and absolute pressure, rotational speed and light intensity.
The model 810, for example, acts as a 2-in-1 air and surface thermometer with single point laser measurement spot marking and 6:1 optics.
The model 610 measures temperature, humidity and dew point, for the fast monitoring of ambient conditions in offices, storage and production rooms with spot measurements.
Determination of ventilator and drive shaft performance during operation can be performed by the testo 460 with optical rotational speed measurement via LED measurement spot marking.
In order to provide dependable and stable measurement results, all of the instruments boast highly reliable sensors, such as testo's patented humidity sensor.
Accessories included with each instrument allow flexible storage and use of the instrument. A protective cap ensures that the buttons and the display are not damaged in tough day-to-day use. The belt holder and the wrist strap can be used by those who do not wish to carry the instrument in their pocket.
The instruments are priced in the R1 000 to R2000 range.
