Hydroponics colorimeter

Hydroponic culture is the growing of plants in a controlled environment with nutrient solutions instead of soil as the supporting medium.

The Model DCL-10 from LaMotte is a hydroponics colorimeter that provides accurate analysis for 12 nutrient factors. The portable lab is housed in a robust carrying case with a battery-powered DC-1600 colorimeter for instant, electronic analysis of colorimetric test reactions.

Readouts are given in percent transmittance and are easily converted to results in parts per million for each nutrient by calibrated charts. No further calculations are required. Colorimeter tests for eight important hydroculture parameters are available. Electrometric tests measure pH and soluble salts and titrametric procedures are performed on calcium and magnesium. Accurately standardised reagent systems offer at least 20 tests per factor and are furnished in individual plastic modules.
