Eurotron, one of the world market leaders in high technology analysis equipment, has developed a portable analyser which enables boiler operators to test efficiency and excess air for rapid optimisation of the combustion performance. The instrument will analyse one or two gases in the range 02, CO, NO, NO2 and SO2 and provide auxiliary measurements of gas temperature and air temperature, local or remote.
The gas concentration determinations are based on electrochemical sensors that provide stable, linear and accurate readings. The instrument is factory calibrated and delivered with a test report. The calibration of the sensor is automatic with fresh air aspirated instead of a gas sample. Values are indicated on a high contrast LCD display with two lines of 16 characters. It is equipped with backlight for easy reading. A printer module can be connected directly to the serial port of the instrument, formatted with three lines of heading and three lines of footnotes. The memory module is capable of storing 250 complete analyses, capable of being downloaded later via a serial interface.
