Improved sensor design for portable moisture analyser

Ametek Process Instruments has re-designed the pentaoxide-based (P2O5) moisture sensor for its Model 303B portable moisture analyser using manufacturing techniques that have resulted in several significant advantages over the previous sensor design.
The portable Model 303B, built for NEC Div 2 areas, is designed to accurately measure the trace moisture content in gases such as air, nitrogen, argon, natural gas and others.
The new moisture sensor was developed to meet customer's needs for faster deliveries. Testing reveals that the new design meets or exceeds the performance of the previous design for both accuracy and response speed.
