It is essential to prevent the risk of asphyxia, poisoning or explosion, caused by the presence of gas, to ensure a safe working environment. The OLC 20 series are catalytic cell type detectors, intended for the detection of combustible and toxic gas, as well as oxygen. These detectors are available in explosion proof protection mode or intrinsic safety protection mode. This range of gas detectors from Oldham Group designed to cost effectively cater for all detection requirements. Beneficial features include:
* The cell units of robust 316L stainless steel, resistant to corrosive agents.
* Resistant to dust and water ingress - IP66
* The new generation of OLC 20 explosometric cell units is unaffected by poisons.
* These units provide quick and reliable response times.
Applications
* Based on the OLC 20 cell unit, the OLCT 20D detector is equipped with a 15 m long cable (standard version) and stuffing gland for direct connection to a datalogger.
* A high temperature version allows operation at 200°C.
* The OLCT 20 cell units, which are fitted with pre-calibrated cells (explosometric, toxic or oxygen type), are classified as flameproof according to your needs or the gases detected.
Added accessories include a tool kit, gas input device, gas circulation head for explosive gases, CO, H2S and O2, anti-splash device, remote gas injection device, PTFE protected filter, gas collectors, pitot tube, remote fastening device.
