IFM Electronic's control monitor for the VS3000 flow sensor series, monitors flow as well as temperature and wire break of the connected sensors. All required parameters are set using a potentiometer. In addition to flow indication via the multicolour LED bar graph, the adjustable limit temperature of the medium, and a wire break between the sensor and the control monitor, are signalled via LEDs and relay outputs.
The small 25 x 100 x 103,5 mm dimensions of the plastic housing are particularly favourable for mounting in a control cabinet. Conventional control monitors have three times the width of this new control monitor. The IP 20 protection rating and the two electrical versions for alternating current or direct current permit a wide range of applications with operating temperatures from -20 to 60°C. Combicon connection options such as insulation displacement terminals, screw terminals and cage clamps provide further flexibility.
