Millipore Corporation is offering new solutions for increased purified water needs in environmental laboratories. Millipore's Elix systems produce and monitor up to 4 kilolitres/day per day of Type II analytical-grade water, suitable for environmental laboratory applications such as BOD, BOC, bacteriological analysis, soil, groundwater and waste water analysis. For sensitive applications using HPLC or ICP-MS instruments, the Elix system product water can be further purified by a Milli-Q ultrapure water system.
Millipore's total pure water systems provide complete control over pure water production, distribution loop components, water storage and monitoring functions from a single unit. Elix systems incorporate advanced purification and monitoring technologies. Built-in water quality monitoring ensures the product water is within specifications.
The Elix systems are available in product flow rates of 20, 35, 70 and 100 litres/hr. Analytical-grade water produced by Elix systems meets the specifications for Type II water defined by ISO 3696/BS3997.
