Simple inclined manometers designed to monitor the pressure drop across industrial air filters are available from PREI Instrumentation. They have linear scales, dual ranges (0 to 250 Pa or 0 to 500 Pa) and can be fitted with one or two adjustable setpoints to alarm when the pressure drop exceeds the preset value.
The case is made of impact resistant plastic, and has a levelling bubble and adjustment screw. The optional switch can be set at any point on the scale, and the relay output is suitable for 220 V a.c. at 8 A.
Standard accessories supplied with the manometer include a 2 m plastic tube, angular connecting tubes, labels, markers, fixing screws and a 50 ml flask of blue liquid, S G 1.00, which is unaffected by temperature changes between -20 to +50°C, and has low evaporation.
