The rising cost of gases and their wide use in industry has meant that accurate gas flow measurement has become increasingly essential to efficient gas operation and environmental protection. Proven in a wide variety of gas flow applications, the t-mass gas flow meter from Endress+Hauser provides a suitable solution for compressed air, biogas and other utility gas applications.
T-mass was developed to provide a single sensor capable of measuring mass flow of gases and gas mixtures without the need for pressure and temperature compensation. T-mass has already been successfully applied to a wide range of gas applications.
Its excellent turndown (100:1) and negligible pressure loss make t-mass ideal for low flows or determining background leakage rates. This is particularly important in compressed air applications, as energy consumption is reduced and money saved by addressing leakage problems. T-mass can also be supplied to suit a wide range of pipe sizes and connections and is ATEX certified for hazardous area use to suit all areas of industry.
On board diagnostics and HART communication, mean that t-mass is simple to maintain and offers a low cost of ownership. Supplied with a display and pushbutton programming as standard, it is user-friendly and can be commissioned in the field with minimum fuss. In addition, t-mass does not have moving parts.
The robust sensors in the t-mass family are made of stainless steel and can be used at temperatures from -10 to +100°C and for pressures in the range 2,5 to 4 MPa. A wide variety of process connections (NPT, BSP, DIN. ANSI) and sensor types ensure that the sensor may be used on a broad basis.
