A new product from Alltron Instruments is the AL410-100. This unit, which is locally manufactured, is a DIN rail mountable, PC programmable, universal input transmitter, programmable for inputs from thermocouples, RTDs (Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and Ni1000), mA, mV and resistance. The unit features an isolated 2-wire loop powered 4 to 20 mA output. With the Windows-based software, one is able to easily program the unit for up-scale or down-scale failsafe burnout. If the computer is connected to the unit while in the field, one is able to see the input and output displayed as realtime graphical representation, to indicate the correlation between the input and output simultaneously over a 120-second time base.
