The MCR-1/5-U/I-(SW)-DCI and MCR-S-10/50-U/I-(SW)-DCI current measuring transducers for measuring real-effective values from Phoenix Contact enable exact detection of direct and alternating currents with any curve shape. As a result, these units are primarily suitable for measuring motor currents.
In accordance with this, the 3-way separation is designed as 'protective separation' between the signal input and output or supply. In addition to an analog output for standard and inverse standard signals, a relay and transistor switching output, eg, for alarm processing, is available as an option.
The transmission behaviour of the current measuring transducers can easily be set with DIP switches and potentiometers, and by means of configuration software under Windows. The wide variety of possible uses for the MCR current measuring transducers reduces storage costs while simultaneously increasing availability.
