As an innovative alternative to the portable paper chart recorder, the Selene recorder from PREI Instrumentation records atmospheric humidity and/or temperature in its memory, and also displays the information on an adjustable screen. The duration of the recording can be 12 hours, 24 hours, 7 days or 28 days, and eight recordings will be stored in memory for four weeks before they are over-written. A simple keyboard and graphical instructions makes this unit very easy to use.
Measurements are taken every 15 seconds with an accuracy of 0,5°C and 2% RH. The display can show either the instantaneous numerical value or as a curve with scale values, measurement units, date and time. Previous readings in memory can also be displayed in this form. The entire memory can also be downloaded onto a PC or printer.
Wherever it is necessary to monitor the atmospheric condition, such as in libraries, computer rooms, museums, warehouses, glasshouses, etc, this battery-operated instrument (weighing 1,8 kg) can provide the required secure and reliable information.
