AMR Automations was established in 1996 focusing on PLC and scada projects. Currently its team of programmers and engineers offer turnkey solutions from factory floor to management level. The company is based in Cape Town where it builds and tests systems before installing them. Although its main client base is in the Western Cape, the company is servicing clients countrywide.

AMR Automation's experience includes:

* Electrical design and panel assembly.

* PLC programming and commissioning.

* HMI and scada engineering.

* Custom software applications.

The recent projects completed include:

* Process control involving multiple PLCs on TCP/IP network.

* DT monitoring with plant efficiency calculations.

* Material's handling process with multiple HMIs and scada.

* Upgrades of existing machines to latest PLC and PC technology.

* Process control with remote I/O on DeviceNet and ASI.

* Temperature logger with event reporting via e-mail.

* Process control with recipe manager and reporting.

AMR Automations has recently moved to larger premises with easy access. Its new address is 15 Denval Industrial Park, Fischer Ave, Epping 1, Cape Town. The company recently acquired the agency for a locally developed data logger aimed at the small to medium factories. Various data logging and downtime solutions will be showcased in an open house function at the new premises on 31 October 2003. Those interested must book by phone.
