The new multimeter from Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) shows all measured values of a three-phase system on one unit. The 7KT1 13 multimeter is available for direct connection or transformer connection optionally for star measurement or delta measurement and with an S0 interface for remote data display of power consumption. The compact multifunction display has eight individual displays of which three are for voltage, three for current, one for kilowatt-hours consumed, and one for either Cosine phi - or the frequency.
The multimeter is available in the 63 A version for direct connection without transformer. No operator input to the device is required during operation since the individual displays make manual read-out of the values superfluous. The display modes are set only at start-up, and the measured values are displayed in order of magnitude in floating-point notation with the maximum number of decimal places.
