Gas analyser with extra capabilities

Ametek Process Instruments has broadened the capabilities of its Model 5100-NCM non-contact moisture gas analyser to include analysis of carbon dioxide and moisture/methane in hydrocarbon streams.

The Model 5100-NCM utilises tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. It offers a highly reliable and cost-effective method for quickly and accurately measuring water vapour, methane and carbon dioxide concentrations in natural gas and hydrocarbon streams. It is ideal for natural gas and hydrocarbon producers, pipeline operators and service companies. The limit of detection is in the low ppm range for moisture and carbon dioxide.

The laser-based analyser features compact, fully enclosed optics and sample conditioning, on-board moisture verification, and all digital signal processing. The rugged, compact unit is available in an IP65 enclosure with both Modbus and Ethernet analogue and digital connectivity.
