Somar’s Eluma is a range of intelligent energy efficient light fittings designed for use in distribution and large warehouse facilities. The Eluma units incorporate a high level photometric design and intelligent sensor control with T 5 fluorescent technology. This makes the unit highly efficient and able to react automatically to its surroundings. The product range is designed for mounting heights between 5 and 16 m. With a maximum load of 230 W, Eluma achieves significant cost savings over conventional lighting fixtures with a high-efficiency design and automatic sensing and adjustment in respect of occupancy and ambient light.
The fittings primarily reduce electricity consumption, reduce maintenance and improve working conditions with better quality light. They are used by many organisations as a significant form of cost control through energy savings. The low-energy Eluma units are in many instances saving up to 80% on the lighting energy bill and significantly reducing carbon footprint.
In addition, the reduced maintenance results in the intangible benefit of less waste generated from the disposal of faulty units. Not only does the Eluma meet environmental targets, but Somar also provides solution evaluation that enables users to reach maximum energy savings.
