Delta OHM joins the GHM Messtechnik stable

Specialist environmental measuring technology company, Delta OHM, recently joined the GHM Messtechnik group of companies, enabling GHM Messtechnik to expand its technology and product offering to include the niche environmental measuring sector.

Italian-based Delta OHM is a world-leader in the supply of professional environmental measuring technology solutions for applications across all industrial sectors, but which are also specifically designed to meet the needs of such niche requirements as complete weather stations and individual measuring devices for the detection and evaluation of temperature, humidity, pressure, light, air speed, carbon dioxide, acoustics, vibration, data loggers WBGT microclimate and water analysis.

Managing director of GHM Messtechnik in South Africa, Jan Grobler said, “We are delighted to be able to offer the South African market the Delta OHM range of specialised measurement instrumentation aimed specifically at the environmental research and evaluation sectors. The Delta OHM devices also have application in the retail and poultry sectors due to their high-accuracy refrigeration temperature monitoring capabilities, all of which can be linked to online data-loggers for immediate problem resolution.

“All the critical elements for high-accuracy analysis of crucial environmental matter in South Africa, particularly water and weather elements, can be assessed accurately and efficiently with Delta OHM measuring instruments. The Delta OHM range complements the already established instrumentation ranges from Greisinger, Honsberg, Martens, T & A Telemetry & Automation and Imtron, which GHM Messtechnik offers.”

Delta OHM was established in 1978, and currently exports to over 100 countries. Its ilac-MRA Accredia Lat No.124 calibration laboratories are accredited for the measurement of the following physical quantities: temperature, humidity, pressure, air speed, photometry/radiometry and acoustics.
