The Thermo Scientific Orion Star A and Versa Star range of meters consists of 24 models designed to handle any type of sample anywhere. They have been specifically designed to meet any potential application and measurement need with various levels of functionality, both benchtop and portable, which meet user requirements perfectly.
Orion Versa Star is the top of the range for users who need the best. It can change based on requirements with up to four channels configurable in any combination. Incremental methods for ISE, auto-recognising for polarographic or RDO optical dissolved oxygen probes, RS-232 communication port, two USB communication ports and two Orion stirrer ports are among the unique advantages. Five modules are available: pH/ISE, conductivity, dissolved oxygen of pH with LogR temperature technology, which can all be mixed and matched to specific user requirements.
At the lower end of the range, the basic, affordable Orion Star A110-series bench top and Orion Star A120-series portable meters have single parameter measurement capabilities for pH/temperature, conductivity/temperature and dissolved oxygen/temperature. These meters provide memory for up to 50 data points.
In between, the Orion Star A210/A320 and the Dual Star bench top and portable meters cater for single, dual-parameter and two-channel measurement. They are GLP/GMP compliant with a 1000–5000 data-log memory, depending on the model, time/date stamp and RS-232/USB communications.
