September 2013Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration
Due to its versatility the handheld multifunction calibrator Pascal series is ideally suited for testing and calibration of industrial measuring instruments in the field. The typical application is the calibration of pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure gauges, temperature probes and other measuring devices.
The calibration data are stored in the instrument’s memory and communication via PC is used to control the unit and to download the calibration reports. Both the Pascal ET and the Pascal 100 are advanced portable multifunction calibrators for the measurement and simulation of the following parameters: relative and absolute pressure, electrical signals (mA, mV, V, Ω), temperature (TC, RTD), frequency and pulse.
The calibrators feature a large display with touch screen, integrated data logger and calibration function and they are optionally available in intrinsically safe versions (Ex ib IIC T4). The Pascal 100 has internal pressure/vacuum generation, while the Pascal ET has an optional environmental parameters module that allows monitoring of barometric pressure, ambient temperature and relative humidity. These values are stored in the calibration report.
