SAIMC: Secunda branch

August 2013 SAIMC

In line with its chosen theme for the year, the Secunda branch has again held successful technology evenings in June and July to broaden the knowledge of members on the subject of valves.

Peter Underhill, from Fischer, gave interactive presentations on both valve performance and also flashing/cavitation and noise. His experience in the field, as well as the experience of attending members, made the sessions valuable for knowledge sharing and networking.

Next month the topic will be valve sizing and all instrumentation professionals are welcome to come and join the branch for the knowledge sharing. The Technology Evening will be held at the WIKA offices in Trichardt. For any additional queries or to be added to the distribution list, please contact Johan Maritz at [email protected]
