The SAIMC Johannesburg branch marked Ladies Month with a gin tasting event on Friday, 14 August 2026. Members and guests enjoyed an afternoon of good company, refreshments and memorable experiences.
Special thanks go to the Rocket Distillery team for making the event so enjoyable. Their enthusiasm, humour and deep knowledge of gin added a distinctive touch, while their stories and conversation helped guests enjoy the tasting and learn more about gin.
Delville Bowling Club in Germiston provided the ideal setting for a relaxed gathering. Guests enjoyed generous, beautifully prepared snack baskets, which received many compliments.
The SAIMC Johannesburg branch sincerely thanks everyone who attended and supported the initiative. The branch also extends appreciation to Rocket Distillery for their outstanding presentation and hospitality, and to Delville Bowling Club for their excellent service and warm welcome. It further recognised the remarkable women in the SAIMC Johannesburg community.
