SAIMC Annual Banquet
December 2012
SAIMC
The SAIMC held its annual banquet recently at the Rand Club in Johannesburg. Well organised by council member Johan van Jaarsveldt and his team and attended by corporate sponsors of the SAIMC, vendors and end users alike – it was a fitting celebration – not only to a successful year under the leadership of Johan Maartens, but for the 55th anniversary of the existence of the SAIMC itself.
As usual it was a very elegant and grand occasion with everybody resplendent in their formal attire and it was especially nice meeting up with some of the past presidents who had been invited to commemorate the occasion. The current council, branch chairmen and committees were of course well represented – even from as far afield as Zambia.
Technews' official photographer Linda du Plessis was on hand to capture the evening and all the images can be found on http://www.instrumentation.co.za/regular.aspx?pklregularid=5821
Please e-mail jane@technews.co.za if you would like to receive any in photos in high resolution.
