On 2 August, Endress & Hauser hosted the Secunda branch’s Technology Evening at the usual venue in Trichardt. Frans van den Berg gave a very interesting presentation on Coriolis flow measurement, explaining the finer details of the Coriolis effect and how it is applied to the measurement of fluid flow. Some of the advantages of the measurement technology are that it directly measures the product mass flow rate as well as the density. The devices provide good rangeabilility, long-term stability and safety. The branch thanks Frans for this insightful presentation.
