At the September technology evening, Miles Weidlich from Alpret Control Solutions presented on the subject of ‘Overall vibration trending for vibration monitoring’. The evening was kindly sponsored by Alpret and as usual included some great networking and interesting interaction.

Forthcoming attractions

The November Technology Evening will be hosted by NIC who will be providing a specialist speaker, Annick Halterman, from Magnetrol in Belguim. Annick is a senior research and development engineer and her speciality is guided wave radar level technology. She will be taking us through the history of GWR, the principles of the technology, as well as how to apply GWR in an industrial level measuring environment. She will talk about her experiences and the challenges she has faced and how they were overcome, this promises to be a winner. As usual the presentation will finish with a question and answer session.
