The Secunda branch hosted an excellent technology evening presented by Mick Carr of Endress+Hauser on flow. For this and similar seminars in other centres, E+H shipped in its flow rig to demonstrate the concepts practically. This was most informative with many delegates saying that even having been in our industry for many years they now look at flow installations differently. The branch also took this opportunity to invite students from a local high school to a special session to introduce them to instrumentation as a career choice. The presenter commented that he received excellent questions from the students.
