SAIMC

Cape Town branch

October 2010 SAIMC

The Cape Town branch hosted a very well attended technology evening together with Rob Oliaro of Yokogawa SA on 26 August. The technology evening for July was also well attended and these serve as a promising platform for the future.

Yokogawa is a global leader in the provisioning of instrumentation, automation and professional services. Rob has a long history with the organisation which he demonstrated through his in-depth knowledge of tuneable diode laser spectroscopy (TDSL). Thank you Rob and we would also like to thank our new attendees from CAE, Rhomberg, Beckhoff and Northlink College.

The Cape Town branch hosts its technology evenings on the last Thursday of every month and members are urged to attend. The next technology evening will be hosted on the 30 September by Phoenix Contact.

Finally, we urge you to update your membership details by contacting the SAIMC Secretariat directly so that we can send you more content and regular branch newsletters.
