A new conference and exhibition on 'Monitoring and control by Internet' will take place on 23 March 2000 at the Kensington Hilton Hotel, London, organised by ERA Technology. This conference will focus on one of the exciting opportunities that has arisen from ease of access to the Internet, that of remote monitoring and control of equipment and data.
Topics for the programme include: the advantages of using Internet technology rather than a traditional bespoke system, Internet related standards and potential applications. The conference is vital for control engineers, technical directors and business development managers from the utilities, telecommunications, petrochemicals and process industries. Those attending will be able to identify some of the benefits of using this media, for example cost reductions, time savings and higher levels of service.
