The August technology evening was sponsored by Extech Safety Systems. Gary Friend presented on a very interesting topic: ‘Reliable Foundation Fieldbus Systems’. We once again had a good attendance from our members and visitors. Please keep this up.
Our next technology evening will be held on 3 September. Wika will be telling us about thermowells – their design and applications.
Arrangements for the Secunda year end function to be held on 6 November are well advanced. It promises to be an excellent evening. All the lessons learnt from last year have been taken into account so that mistakes or mishaps can be minimised. Please contact me if you would like to book a seat or a table.
Please log onto the SAIMC website to see when the next technology evenings are happening and also what other social events are being planned. Feel free to contact me on my cell +27 (0)83 310 7925 or by e-mail at [email protected] if you are unable to access the website.
