Originally established in 1990 as a supplier of distributed control systems (DCS) to focus on process control in the South African market, Cube Technologies has evolved, through mergers and acquisitions, into an international industrial solution provider to a diverse range of clients from all manufacturing verticals.

Cube Technologies says it will provide tailored solutions at a reasonable investment using standard and easy to use hardware and software tools. Totally integrated automation solutions include: PLC, SCADA, DCS, MIS and MES.

The company believes in technology partnerships, aligning itself with the leading thinkers in manufacturing. This approach has allowed it to leverage the most up-to-date technology available across multiple vendor platforms to provide truly integrated solutions.

The goal is to build upon a respected position in the market by providing enterprise integrated plant systems (IPS) to the manufacturing arena. The solution involves synchronising production management, process management and process control in realtime, thus enabling enterprise supply chain optimisation and e-commerce initiatives within a plant environment. The solution is designed to address a weak link in an enterprise’s value chain – the plant environment.

Major clients include, Illovo Sugar, Hosaf, Volkswagen SA, Samancor and the United Sugar Company (USC) of Saudi Arabia.

Cube Technologies is the current holder of two Siemens awards viz. Best Performing System Integrator 2008, by exceeding budget by over 200% and the Best Project 2008, for the USC Phase 2 expansion, which involved all components of totally integrated automation.

It recently opened a SITRAIN certified training facility at its premises in Hillcrest. This facility is the basis for implementing a distinctive training philosophy: 'from engineers – for engineers'. Training is provided for the African as well as for the Middle-East regions.

Cube Technologies is an innovative partner in totally integrated automation.
