Throughput Technologies will be a showcasing a variety of industrial networking products, visit its stand to see:
Westermo 3G/HSDPA Router
A live data link from the show, through a virtual private network (VPN) to an IP camera at Westermo’s offices at Southampton in the UK will be on display. Westermo’s MRD-330 HSDPA/3G/GPRS Router will be used to create the high-speed link through the VPN to a Westermo DR-250 DSL router in Westermo’s workshop area.

ProSoft RadioLinx frequency hopping Ethernet radios
The RLX-IFHE24E is a high-speed radio well suited for long range industrial wireless Ethernet communications typical in PLC to PLC or scada applications. Due to the frequency hopping technology employed the product has excellent industrial environment and performance features.
RLX-IFHxE frequency hopping radios
Ethernet extenders
The Wolverine series Ethernet extenders are capable of extending Ethernet networks on legacy copper cables. Data rates up to 5,7 Mbit/s and operating distance of up to 15 kilometres at lower data rates can be achieved. Visit stand H2 to see a special demonstration of the Wolverine Series extenders running on a ‘typical’ South African network – razor wire.

Fieldbus & Industrial Networking
Feedforward control is a powerful technique that can dramatically improve control variance in cases where load changes cause big deviations from setpoint and the actual process dynamics are too slow to allow the feedback controller to operate fast enough to catch these disturbances.
