The March technology evening was a big success thanks to Mervyn Gans who gave us a well structured and interesting presentation on instrument protective systems.

The April technology evening will be held at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Howard College campus, Room G-01 Faculty of Electrica on 1 April 17:30 for 18:00. The presenter is yet to be confirmed, but the topic will be electrical earthing.
The May technology evening will take place at the same venue on 6 May. The topic will be Robocup – Robotics SA. The presenter, Mike Barker will be updating us on the recent quest to form a local organising team (Robotics SA) with a bid to bring the RoboCup event to South Africa in 2010 and to promote robotics in general. Mike will be bringing along some demonstrations so be sure not to miss this very interesting and topical event.
