The committee wishes all our members a very happy and prosperous new year.
Briefly looking back at last year, we had the following topics presented during our technology evenings: Wireless technology (Alpret); Choosing the correct level for the application (Siemens); Profibus principles (Endress+Hauser); Safety integrity level (Sasol/SAIMC); Radioactive technology (Vega); Control valves (Emerson) and Laser diode gas analysis (Siemens).
Our year-end function was a great success and we once again wish to thank all the sponsors who contributed and supported us during the year. Your commitment is highly appreciated.
We kick off 2009 with our branch AGM on Thursday 15 January. This will be held at our regular venue ie, the lapa in Bergius Street. We invite all members and interested parties to join us and to contribute towards another successful year for the SAIMC in Secunda. The newly elected committee will then plan the activities for the rest of the year.
The first technology evening will be on 12 February. Invitations will be sent out in advance. Please note that there may be a possible change in venue.
