What an incredible day out on the course! With 16 four-balls in play and fantastic weather to match, the SAIMC Johannesburg Golf Day was a resounding success. The atmosphere was vibrant with plenty of fun, laughter and engaging networking throughout the day. From an excellent round of golf to the lively auction of donated items, there was never a dull moment. We are truly grateful to our generous sponsors and participants who made it all possible.
Representatives from Action Instruments SA, Afrilek, Allpronics, Amphenol, Comtest, Electech Power Solutions, Extech, ifm electronic, iTek Drives, Loadtech, Morton Controls, Phoenix Contact, Tola International, Vega Controls and WIKA all joined the event, contributing to a memorable day of friendly competition and industry networking.
Our prize sponsors added to the excitement, with Afrilek donating four vouchers, Vega Controls providing goody bags, and Amphenol sponsoring the Nearest the Pin prize, which was also donated for auction.
Congratulations to all the prize winners. Afrilek dominated the competition, securing both first and second place, while WIKA claimed third place. Frank Karla won the 2 Club (Two Hole) prize, and iTek Drives took home the award for Most Golf Balls Lost. The Sportsmanship Award went to Jerry Moelich of WIKA, while Hardus Pretorius of Morton Controls received recognition for the Longest Day.
A special thank you goes to Shantel, Jason and Craig from Jackal Creek for their excellent support in hosting such a memorable event. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next golf day – bigger, better and even more enjoyable.
