RS South Africa recently exhibited at MTE Ngodwana 2024 in Mpumalanga. RS provides industrial products and service solutions for the pulp and paper industry that allow customers to focus on designing, building, maintaining, repairing, and operating their industrial equipment safely and sustainably. Its unique strength lies in the combination of a global distribution network, industry-leading inventory management systems, and strong operational efficiencies. “These MTE events afford us an opportunity to share the latest industrial technologies and solutions to design, build and maintain operations in diverse sectors from mining to pulp and paper,” says RS sales director, Erick Wessels.
RS showcased automation and control and safety equipment from its more than 750 000 products across 2500 global brands. Visitors had the opportunity to explore a wide range of RS PRO products, RS Group’s private-label brand known for offering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
RS PRO’s expanded Planned Maintenance range, which now includes over 850 new products across more than 24 categories, was a focal point. This extensive range covers all the components and materials needed to optimise maintenance processes, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This extends from test and measurement equipment (Fluke, Megger) to tooling (DeWalt, Wera), personal protective equipment (3M, Ansell), automation and electrification (Siemens, Schneider), and machine safety (Allen-Bradley, Eaton).
In addition to showcasing its products, RS South Africa offered attendees expert advice and insights on optimising their operations. The RS team was on hand to discuss how their solutions can be integrated into existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
