Good day Johan.
For the record, I advise that I joined ICSSA (Instrument and Control Society of South Africa) 64 years ago. As you know ICSSA was the forerunner of SAIMC.
I was also president twice (in different years) and was the first general secretary to be appointed.
During my year in office, I introduced the first formal annual Council Dinner at the Inanda Club – prior to that the Johannesburg branch held dinner/dance affairs.
