Secunda Branch
January 2003
SAIMC
It was a very good year for us in the Secunda area. We still have not recovered from the news that we won the Branch of the Year Award for 2001.
Last year kicked of with the AGM where the new committee was elected. And again this year we will start with our AGM and we will inform everyone of the decisions taken and the plans for the rest of 2003. Keep watching this space.
The next great event is our annual golf day. Again the best event for our branch where friends meet and presenters are organised for our monthly evenings. Diarise the last Thursday in May in 2003 and be part of this pleasant event.
The year ended with our year end function at the Rhino Lodge with a game braai. At this event the branch presented a check of R1500 to the Kristopher Ryan Centre. These funds were collected at the golf day with the sale of Gimmies and Mulligans.
The Secunda branch thanks all its supporters, presenters, sponsors and members for the past year. This was our year of re-consolidation and stock taking. 2003 will be a new challenge and we will do our best to provide in all the needs of our members. Wishing all readers a prosperous 2003.
