Rugged, low maintenance gas burners

Hegwein, part of the Durag Group, has been manufacturing gas burners for over 50 years. Its range of low maintenance gas burners provide guaranteed electromagnetic compatibility with enclosure ratings complying with IP54 or IP65 according to IEC 529. All components are contained in a single housing and the electrical connection occurs via a multipole plug connection. No high voltage cable needs to be installed on site.

Seven burner sizes are available ranging from 15 kW to 2 MW. All burners have a built-in ionisation electrode, EC approved flame monitor and burner control design. Various tube lengths are offered according to customer requirements and are available in 10 mm increments.

Burners are available for connection to any burner management system already on site to provide ionisation flame monitoring. The BG type have no built-in electrical components and are recommended for applications with ambient temperatures in excess of 60°C or combustion air temperatures up to 400°C.
