Dehn's UGK antenna range is designed to protect communication equipment from surge and lightning damage. Various types are available including the UGK/N for high frequencies of up to 2,0 GHz, 500 W output transmission power, and the UGK/U for applications up to 300 MHz and 1,2 W output power. The antenna protection devices have an insertion loss of less than 0,2 dB and a return loss of 30 dB. The UGK coaxial radio antenna protectors are designed for U-type, N-type and BNC connectors in the LPZ concept at the OA-1 interfaces.
