Instrotech's Keller Series 21 Pro pressure transmitters have been reduced in price by 50% through negotiating a bulk discount. These units are now available off-the-shelf.
The fully programmable transmitters for piezoresistive pressure transducers contain the current source for powering the transducer, an amplifier and four programmable resistor networks for temperature compensation and zero and full-scale adjustment.
These 2-wire (4-20 mA) transmitters are ruggedly designed with all-welded stainless steel housings (G1/4" thread) with an O-ring seal, with potted electronics and without a potentiometer. Plug connection is standard.
Basic ranges are 0 to 50 kPa (0,5 bar) up to 60 MPa (600 bar). The transmitter can be reprogrammed at any time, altering the range by up to a factor of 5. Programming is carried out via a simple to use handheld programmer. Accuracy is 0,1% of full scale.
