Metso Automation's field systems division to relocate

Metso Automation RSA, with its head office located in Durban, has announced its plan to relocate the existing Midrand-based office of the field systems division. The sales and service operations will look to relocate to the major manufacturing facilities of Metso Minerals in Vereeniging in the foreseeable future. In line with the corporation's worldwide policy of mergers, acquisitions and synergistic opportunities, the move will allow for a more customer focused sales operation in the Gauteng region, with the added benefit of the service operations being located nearer to the customer base in the Vaal Triangle.

Metso is currently represented by all three of its main divisions within South Africa: Metso Paper, a global-leader in the supply of processes, machinery and systems for the pulp and paper industry. Metso Minerals, a world-leader in the supply of rock and minerals processing systems.

Metso Automation, a leading supplier of automation and flow control solutions to the global pulp and paper, energy and hydrocarbons industries.
