Today's power supply systems often require high levels of operational safety and availability. Bender has developed a new family of A-isometers to monitor all types of unearthed systems.
The new AMP pulse measuring principle allows exact measurement of the insulation resistance, even in extended systems and installations - including variable speed drives. Examples of suitable fields of application for the IRDH375/575 A-isometer are hospitals, mines, furnaces, steel works, explosion hazard areas, computer power supply systems, test and laboratory installations and power engineering.
The illuminated text display panel allows the user to monitor information at a glance. If an insulation fault occurs, an alarm message is displayed and the fault can be instantly located. Quick action saves on expensive interruptions to the power supply.
Only one insulation-monitoring device may be active in each unearthed system. An IRDH375B can be configured to operate as an unearthed system manager to provide the necessary control information exchange between the isometers when several unearthed systems are interconnected.
