IFM Electronic has introduced the type LI electronic limit level sensors for safe and reliable detection of limit levels in almost all liquids. No mechanical components are required, reducing mechanical wear to a minimum, and the need to stock various limit switches in different lengths is eliminated.
Special mounting adapters enable the sensors to be easily mounted in all standard vessels. The installation depth in the vessel, and thus the limit level can be exactly defined using a clamp.
Available in rod lengths of 132, 273, 481 and 737 mm, the compact limit level sensors are resistant to aggressive oils, emulsions, coolants and lubricants. They feature M12 connectors, IP67 protection and LED switching status indication.
Units are available which comply with the German overspill standard for media that may be harmful to environmental regulations. The level switches are immune to noise caused for example by frequency converters, mobile telephones or electronic discharge. IFM Electronic is represented locally by Shorrock Automation.
