SKF digital tachometer provides accuracy and versatility

January 2019 Maintenance, Test & Measurement, Calibration

The SKF TKRT 10 is a fast and accurate tachometer utilising laser or contact to measure rotational and linear speeds. Equipped with a laser and a range of contact adaptors, it is a versatile instrument and suits many different applications.

It has a wide speed measurement range – up to 99 999 r/min for laser measurement and 20 000 r/min using contact adaptors. Measurement modes include rotational speed, total revolutions, frequency, surface speed and length in both metric and imperial units.

The laser can be used for safe and quick, non-contact rotational speed measurements at distances up to 0,5 m. The large back-lit LCD display enables easy reading in almost all light conditions. The angular range of ±45° to target helps facilitate easy measuring and up to 10 readings can be stored for later reference.

The TKRT comes in a compact design for one-handed operation and is supplied in a carrying case for protection and portability.
